One of the original Friday Night Ride destinations, and definitely a classic not to be missed. Our Brighton ride has everything and for some of you it’ll be the highlight of the year. This ride is ideal for people who have not experienced a night ride before, and who might be apprehensive about the pace etc. It's usually a popular ride, and you can expect a lot of fellow riders on the road, many of whom will be night riding for the first time. It's an ideal ride to cut your night riding teeth on, so if you have a friend who is night riding curious, see if they might want to join.
The start will be in the usual place at the usual time, that is midnight from Friday’s Central (under Waterloo Bridge on the Southbank between the British Film Institute and the National Theatre). The half-way stop will be at the superb 1st Burstow Scouts hut in Horley, where people will be giving up their beauty sleep to provide refreshments. The finish will be at the seaside in Brighton.
The exact route between those three points is to be decided after the Flanders Tour. I will provide more information with the next newsletter, which is due on Independence Day, and I will open the registration at that time
Registration will open soon.
